The iPhone X is out, and it’s in shorter supply than previous iPhone launches. While it may seem like a difficult task, there are a few tools online that might make snagging an iPhone X a bit easier.
Prospective buyers can now get a birds-eye view of iPhone X availability at brick-and-mortar retail outlets across the globe using iStockNow.com. The website lets users view available stock on a map with pins representing retail outlets.
Users can also search for specific storage configurations, colors, and unlocked or carrier-specific options. Once a search is made, retail locations with the iPhone X available will be represented by a green pin — while stores that are out of stock will be represented by a red pin. Alternatively, users can hide stores that are out of stock entirely.
There are also other sites, like IsInStock.com, that have similar functionality.
Apple, of course, has made its own iPhone X availability tool available on its retail website over the weekend. But iStockNow’s service allows more of a visual look at iPhone X availability, rather than Apple’s list of stock at nearby retail outlets.
You can use the availability tool, based on your location, by clicking one of the links below. You’ll be required to pick a carrier (if applicable), a storage configuration and a color before seeing available units. On a side note, the availability tool isn’t available for every launch country — yet.

For Apple retail locations with iPhone X units available, customers can checkout with their device and reserve an iPhone X for same day, in-store pickup. Of course, these tools are also useful for walk-in customers to check stock.
The iPhone X became available for pre-order on Oct. 27. It sold out within a matter of matters, with shipping estimates slipping to 5 to 6 weeks globally. Those shipping estimates have improved somewhat in recent days. Despite that, using Apple’s tool may prove to be a quicker and more convenient option, as users can check supplies before leaving their house and even reserve an iPhone X for in-store pickup.
