Apple has disseminated the fourth beta of the upcoming iOS 10.2.1 update to developers and public beta testers, just a few days after seeding the third beta and mere hours after releasing the fourth iteration of macOS 10.12.3. Dubbed 14D27, developers can download the fourth beta of iOS 10.2.1 from the Apple Developer Center and over the air. Users who have signed up to test Apple’s developer betas on their devices can find the latest seed on Apple’s Beta Software Program website.
With today’s seeds, Apple appears to have returned to its usual beta software release timetable. Cupertino issued new beta builds for iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS on Monday after taking a break for the holidays.
Unfortunately, today’s release notes do not mention what specific features and fixes were brought in with the iOS 10.2.1 fourth beta, but it’s likely that it focuses on minor bug fixes, performance enhancements, and miscellaneous improvements. Similar to the third beta, there don’t seem to be any major user-facing features or additions as of yet.
iOS 10.3 beta with ‘Theater Mode’ didn’t launch this week as rumored, however we’ll update you as soon as it does.
