T-Mobile is offering a free iPhone 7 to new subscribers who bring their phone number.
Anyone who brings their current phone number to T-Mobile can get an iPhone 7 for free — or an iPhone 7 Plus for $100 — after a qualifying trade-in credit and rebate, according to a press release. “T-Mobile customers are the most satisfied in wireless, and I want every single carrier customer out there to switch over NOW and see why!” T-Mobile CEO John Legere said of the deal.
To redeem the offer, new or existing customers must bring their number to T-Mobile, trade in their current device, and sign up for T-Mobile’s ONE plan. Customers will then get their new iPhone on T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan, with instant credit for the traded-in device and a prepaid card with a rebate to pay off the remaining balance on the installment plan.
For big families or small business owners who want to switch several people over, the offer can be extended to up to 12 iPhone 7 devices, according to T-Mobile.
Qualifying trade-in devices include all variants of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 — including Plus models — as well as all memory and color variants of Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7 Active, according to the Un-carrier. As always, terms and conditions apply. If the plan is cancelled before the phone is paid off, customers will be responsible for the remaining balance on the phone.
But for those who are looking to switch to the Un-carrier, this might be an excellent time to do so. Of course, it won’t last forever — T-Mobile’s free iPhone 7 offer lasts until Thursday, March 16.
